Opportunities

What needs people in the next 30 days, and who has said they would like to. Every line goes where the asking is done; nothing here assigns anybody.

Ask the group

An email to Nursery Volunteers, with the open dates and a one-click link for each.

What the email will carry

Sunday, Sep 6, 2026 — 2 needed

The list is re-checked when each email goes out, and again when somebody clicks: a date that fills in between simply stops being offered.

1 person is away and won’t be emailed.

Who has done this before

4 people have served as Nursery and are not down for a date in this range.

Grace Douglas · last Jun 14, 2026
Julie Anderson · last Jul 19, 2026
Maria Castillo · last Aug 9, 2026
Carmen Ibarra · last Aug 30, 2026

A shortlist to ask from by hand. The email below still goes to the whole group.

What this screen mirrors. apps/web/app/(app)/opportunities/page.tsx (shifts from serving_slots, places from event capacity via event_registration_counts, asks from interests, doors from the communities view) as of 2026-09-03, plus the card at the bottom mirroring apps/web/app/(app)/serving/[id]/ask/page.tsx where a “Shifts short” line lands. Shaped by migration 0403 (the page), #382 (a team’s door is its pool group’s), 0395 (asks and doors) and commit 80e690e0 (“Who has done this before”, with the last date served). The meal train, picnic crew and table host are serving roles with dated slots, which is the only way a need reaches this list. Deliberately absent: the quiet state (“Nothing needs people just now, and nobody is waiting on an answer.”), the per-grant omissions for seats without Serving or Events, and the ask page’s “only an active, self-serve role with a group can ask one” warning.
