Pledge — Test Church · Test Church demo

If the same email answers again

The later answer replaces the earlier one while both are waiting, and the copy says so: “This replaces the answer you sent earlier.” If the church has already confirmed one, the copy reads “This replaces what we had on record: $2,080.00.” Two people from one household with different emails both wait, side by side, and the office decides — see the campaign page.

What this screen mirrors. apps/web/app/[slug]/pledge/page.tsx and public-pledge-form.tsx as of 2026-10-25 (#456), with the email from lib/email/pledge-received.ts and the copy from the pledgeForm.*, me.pledge.* and pledgeReceived.* catalog keys. Grace Okafor is a member whose address the church already has, so her answer will match her household on the staff side; the form itself does not know or say that. The page is the link the church puts in its letter, its Sunday email or a QR code; it is not indexed. Nothing here counts until somebody in the office confirms it. Deliberately absent: anything about what her household said before (the form only writes; a stranger with her email must not be able to read her pledge), a login, and a household name. A signed-in member who opens this link is sent to the member form at /me/pledge instead, which does show the household name and what it already said. The honeypot field is in the real page but not drawn. Church branding (logo, accent colour on the buttons) is shown only when the church has set it; Test Church has not. When no campaign is collecting, the page says only “There is nothing to answer right now.”
